
Bako Ambianda is a Cameroonian-born entrepreneur, bestselling author, public speaker, and investor with diversified business interests across Africa. From humble beginnings, his holding company, Bako Group, has grown into a Pan-African enterprise with operations spanning Energy, Technology, Media, and Real Estate.
He serves as the Managing Partner of Backbone Capital Ventures, a venture capital firm that provides early-stage funding to innovative startups and emerging technology companies in Africa. He is also the Executive Chairman of ATIGS Network, a global membership organization that promotes international trade and investment in Africa, with active chapters in several countries.
Over the years, Bako has received numerous accolades for his leadership and impact, including being named Most Admired Young Global African (2019), receiving the Africa Business Advocate Award (2019), and being recognized as a Global Business Disruptor (2018).
